That Time Again

It is hard to believe that the NQC is upon us again already! This has become a time of sweet fellowship, relaxation, and revival for my wife and I as we get a chance to see everyone once again. And if many of you are like me I need my battery charged from time to time so I can not wait. This year will be special as Lori and I introduce our grandson to Southern Gospel music. Derrick Cole Kirby is 10 weeks old as of this article and he will be making the trip to Louisville with us. I believe in starting them out right and young. So if you see me around with a “BIG” smile on my face you know what it will be from.

But on a different note have you noticed all the hard work that our officers have done for us at the NQC? A few years ago we were nonexistent when it came to the NQC. And now we have a wonderful relationship with them.

I realize the cost of gas and fuel has many worried about this years NQC but you know what GOD will provide just as HE as always done in the past. So I believe that we will see one of the best if not the best NQC of all time. I can not wait to renew friendships of the groups we have had in our church this year and hopefully find that new up and coming talent at our talent search! But let’s all remember that there is work to be done at the NQC so please chip in and help as much as possible. Let the groups and fans know we are there to help in anyway that we can to promote Southern Gospel music.

Well the time is here and we will be packing our cars and head north from Pell City, Alabama so please be safe and we will see you all there. Also one note of interest I will have a devotion at some point and time when we get there. This will not be a scheduled event but I will let everyone know when we will do this. I just want a time to pray and encourage you all in the LORD!
