May Meeting Determination:

I recently asked your opinion regarding our Annual Meeting to be held in Nashville in May.  The reason for the request was that so many members had informed me due to the economy that they would not be attending the meeting.  Therefore, all members were polled to give their preference.

SGPA members overwhelmingly responded in favor of omitting the May meeting 2012 to be combined with the Annual Meeting in September at NQC.  Said meeting will be held on Thursday afternoon during NQC week at which time Officers will be nominated and elected.

As you know, I stated that I would not seek reelection and that has not changed, but I will continue to serve until September.

Anyone wishing to seek the Office of President of SGPA should contact Herb Henry or Lane Reed.  You will find their contact info on the SGPA website.
